Snel.com - Notice history

On the 16th of February 2022 SmartDC / i3D (our IP transit provider) will perform a router software upgrade. Following this software upgrade the routers will be rebooted. This procedure will happen one router at a time and due to the fact that our connections are redundant this will not affect the availability.

Expected impact: If all goes as planned no services will be affected during this maintenance, we expect reduced redundancy only. In the unfortunate event that something unexpected happens our technical support team is standby.

Acronis Cyber Cloud components will be updated to the latest version. Release notes can be found here.

Maintenance start (CET/CEST): 4 February 2022 21:00 hours Maintenance duration: 2 hours

Expected impact: All Acronis services may become unavailable for up to 1 hours during the activity.

On the 1st of Februari 2022 SmartDC, the datacenter in which our servers are located, will perform a generator onload test.

Expected impact: If all goes as planned no services will be affected during this maintenance. In the unfortunate event that something unexpected happens our technical support team is standby.

We would like to announce a schedule maintenance for replacing the IPMI switch in Rack 18. The maintenance is scheduled for the 27th of January.

Maintenance start (CET/CEST): 27th January 2022 23:00 hours Maintenance duration: 2 hours

Expected impact: During the maintenance it could be possible that your KVM/IPMI is not working for up to 30 min. It will NOT affect your server network.

We are planning for a scheduled maintenance during that time.

We would like to announce an emergent scheduled maintenance for Snel.com network infrastructure. The maintenance is scheduled for January 27th, 2022. Snel.com will update the software on their rack switches.

Due to a recently discovered bug in the software which is currently in use we will update the software on all our rack switches.

Maintenance start (CET/CEST): 27 January 2022 00:00 hours Maintenance duration: 1 hour

Expected impact: During our tests we saw a downtime of less than 2 minutes due to the reboot. We expect a downtime of 5 minutes per rack at most.

On the 18th of Januari 2022 SmartDC, the datacenter in which our servers are located, will perform a off-load test.

Expected impact: If all goes as planned no services will be affected during this maintenance. In the unfortunate event that something unexpected happens our technical support team is standby.

The Acronis Cloud Team will redeploy Acronis True Image to the latest version

Expected impact: All Acronis services may become unavailable for up to 30 minutes during the activity.

On the 7th of December 2021 SmartDC, the datacenter in which our servers are located, will perform a dark site test.

Expected impact: If all goes as planned no services will be affected during this maintenance. In the unfortunate event that something unexpected happens our technical support team is standby.

Acronis Cloud Team will perform an activity during which some network equipment will be migrated for an overall better quality of the provided Acronis services.

Expected impact: All Acronis services may become unavailable for up to 3 hours during the activity.
